Treatment fees

NHS dental treatment fees

At Barbour Dental Care, adult patients can choose to register as an NHS patient and still have access to many private treatment options.
NHS fees are set by the Scottish Government and does not include cosmetic treatment.

You may wish to register as a private patient and as such will benefit from a much wider range of treatment options.

Private patients can choose to either pay -as- you -go or to join a dental payment plan which gives additional benefits/discounts as detailed below.*

Practice Plan patients have the added benefit of world wide emergency assistance if travelling away from home. See our Plan brochure for full details.*

Private Fee Guide

Following your consultation you will receive a treatment plan, including alternative treatments, and estimated costs. Please ensure that you understand the proposed treatment plan and do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff should you have any queries. Please note that due to the nature of dental treatment it may be necessary to amend the original treatment plan. Should this happen the dentist will stop, discuss any findings and advise on changes to the treatment plan and any associated costs.

*Private fees may change without notice
*Practice plan fees may change from January each year
